The stars are out on Sunday for the 2017 SAG Awards, and Gossip Cop has all the red carpet photos. Check out the gallery below!
The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards is taking place at the iconic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. A few days ago, the red carpet was rolled out outside the venue. And, as always, organizers are kicking things off with a champagne toast, this time led by Hidden Figures actor Glen Powell.
The red carpet is also where the first awards are handed out. Prior to the ceremony, the winners for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series are revealed during the pre-show. Of course, for most people, the red carpet isn’t about popping bubbly and passing around statues. It’s about fashion, of course. And with awards season kicking into high gear, there’s some serious style statements to be made.
Those posing for the cameras include nominees Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Kerry Washington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Claire Foy, and Ellie Kemper. Among men, there’s Casey Affleck, Ryan Gosling, Dev Patel, Mahershala Ali, Rami Malek, Sterling K. Brown, and Riz Ahmed. And that’s not even half of the stars in attendance.
