First, soak your seeds overnight to germinate (Approx. 2-4 Tbs of seed per jar or tray). Next, drain your seeds into the sprouter, place it on the counter top out of direct sunlight and rinse once or twice a day. In three to five days you will have sprouts with long tails. You can either eat them as is, or leave them in a sunny spot for a day or two to develop more chlorophyll.
