Does Goldie Hawn want her daughter, Kate Hudson, to start dating Brad Pitt? That’s the claim in one of this week’s new tabloids. Gossip Cop has the truth!
There have been many recent tabloid reports falsely claiming Hudson and Pitt are in a relationship, but that’s not the case. Now, Life & Style acknowledges the two aren’t dating, but claims Hawn wants them to hook up. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Kate’s mom swears that Kate and Brad would make an amazing couple. Goldie has met Brad and is a big fan of his.”
The outlet’s questionable insider further alleges that Hawn “has no problem playing the meddling matchmaker mom,” adding, “She knows Brad and Kate would totally get along. She’s ready to play Cupid.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us Hawn isn’t pushing for her daughter to date Pitt, and the assertion is totally fabricated.
As for the rumors about a supposed relationship between Hudson and Pitt, Gossip Cop has already debunked numerous fake news stories linking the two. We first corrected a made-up HollywoodLife article that falsely declared Pitt was dating Hudson. Then, after that lie was picked up and widely spread, Gossip Cop exclusivelyshot down a Star cover story that wrongly alleged Hudson was pregnant with Pitt’s baby. There were even untrue tales about Pitt moving in with Hudson and a completely fabricated report about her meeting his kids. As Gossip Cop was exclusively assured by a Pitt pal, the truth is the actor and Hudson “have not seen each other in years.” Much like those falsehoods, the current claim about Hawn wanting Pitt to date Hudson is also entirely unfounded.
