Drake is NOT upset about Jennifer Lopez dating Alex Rodriguez, despite a bogus webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to HollywoodLife, the rapper is “beyond devastated” that his alleged former fling is now in a relationship with Rodriguez. A so-called “source” tells the site, “Drake hates the news because he feels like he let her get away, and now Alex is enjoying the relationship he could have had with her.”
The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “Drake will have to deal with it. He’s not going to bother to interfere because he respects Jen and her decisions, even though he thinks he’s the better man.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the rapper, who exclusively assures us he isn’t “devastated” about Lopez and Rodriguez’s relationship, and no one in his inner circle spoke to HollywoodLife.
Additionally, as Gossip Cop reported, Lopez said on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” last month that she and Drake were never a couple, but simply friends. But that didn’t stop HollywoodLies from previously claiming Lopez was worried about Drake cheating on her with strippers at his Super Bowl party. Gossip Cop debunked that tall tale, as well as another false report alleging Taylor Swift had commented on Drake and Lopez dating. There was no truth to either of those stories, and the same goes for this latest one.
