A top defector from North Korea is warning the west that “desperate” dictator Kim Jong-un will use nuclear weapons against Britain and the United States unless they “eliminate him first,” the Daily Express reports.
Thae Yong-ho, who served as North Korea’s deputy ambassador to the U.K. before defecting to South Korea last year, said world leaders must prepare to deal with a “desperate” Kim. According to Thae, the North Korean strongman is determined to maintain his tyrannical reign through the development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM).
And it appears President Donald Trump is already sending a message to Kim Jong-un, as Reuters reports that a U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official said on Saturday.

Thae, who recently appeared on 60 Minutes, said, “If Kim Jong-un has nuclear weapons and ICBMs, he can do anything.
“So, I think the world should be ready to deal with this kind of person. Kim Jong-un is a man who can do anything beyond the normal imagination.”
According to Thae, the only “real solution to the North Korean nuclear issue is to eliminate Kim Jong-un from the post.”

As Radar has reported, Kim Jong-un is known for his bizarre ruthlessness, having reportedly executed one of his officials with an anti-aircraft gun for sleeping during a meeting.
Kim’s aunt spilled his secrets last year in a tell-all interview, saying her nephew was “short-tempered and had a lack of tolerance.”
Meanwhile, Gordon Chang, a Daily Beast columnist and author of Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes On The World, said in a statement to Fox News Friday that last week’s U.S. strike on the Syrian airfield “tells North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un that he must now heed American military power, something that he probably dismissed before.”
North Korea is believed to have more than eight nuclear weapons, but they are reportedly not yet powerful enough to strike the U.S.

This year, Kim Jong-un has indicated an intercontinental ballistic missile test or something similar could be coming, possibly as soon as April 15, the 105th birthday of North Korea’s founding president and celebrated annually as “the Day of the Sun.”
In their recent meeting, President Donald Trump urged Chinese President Xi Jinping to do more to curb North Korea’s nuclear program.
As Radar has reported, Pres. Trump has said he’s open to a meeting with Kim Jong-un.
