Over the last couple of weeks there has been fierce debate in Washington, D.C. over which scandal is the “real” scandal. Democrats argue that the Russia-Trump connection story is the real story we should be focusing on. Republicans argue that the recently proven true story that the Obama administration had been spying on the Trump campaign (and then on the Trump transition) team for almost a year before President Trump was sworn in.
The mainstream media seems to have taken the Democrat position on the issue (even though we now have proof of Obama’s spying but we still have NO evidence of any connection between the Trump team and Russia) and has been working hard to cover up the Obama administrations crimes. CNN’s Don Lemon told his viewers to pay no attention to the Rice story, MSNBC’s Brian Williams argued that Trump was using the story to distract from the Russia story, and now Chris Wallace is blaming racism and misogyny for Rice’s predicament.
In a recent interview with the far-left David Corn, we heard these gems from the two leftists.
Chris Matthews on Republicans focus on Susan Rice: “Notice it’s always a female? Just a thought.”
David Corn on the Susan Rice issue: “Did she do something wrong? There is no information indicating that. So they are making her, you know, basically they’re defaming her without any reason to do so because she’s a woman. Maybe because she’s a black woman. Maybe because they didn’t like her during Benghazi.”
This argument shouldn’t sit well with any American who has been paying attention to the news leaking out of D.C. over the last two weeks. On their face the comments are patently ridiculous. Susan Rice is at the center of this scandal because SHE WAS THE ONE WHO ORDERED THE UNMASKING of Trump’s team and she was the one who went on PBS and lied about it happening.
Thankfully, there are still some honest people in the media and two of them happen to work for Fox News. Harris Faulkner and Eboni Williams are both women and they’re both black and both of them were extremely upset with the way the two old white men from MSNBC were talking about black women.
Harris Faulkner: “Oh no, you have got to be kidding me! I haven’t seen that. Because she’s a black woman? That’s crazy. You can’t get to the truth because she’s black and she’s a woman? Neither one of those men are serious.”
Eboni Williams: “I don’t know what their motivations for that black-woman-illusion crap is, but it actually discredits and undermines us.. What exactly is it that you’re implying? That somehow we as black women are less capable, less accountable and less credible than others?”
