Police safely locate 14-year-old who went missing on Indy’s north side

Update: The missing girl was safely located and reunited with her family. We have since retracted her information and picture from this story since she is a juvenile.

INDIANAPOLIS – Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department safely located a 14-year-old girl who went missing on Indy’s north side Sunday night.

Police say she got into an argument with her mother around 8:30 p.m. and left their home.

After searching the area for the missing girl, she was safely located and reunited with her family on Monday morning around 10 a.m.
