Police may try to contact Justin Bieber after an assault victim filed a police report naming the singer as the suspect (video below).
The alleged incident happened in June 2016 just after the Cleveland Cavaliers faced off against the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 the NBA finals in Ohio, reports Patch.com.

In the police report, which was released to the public on Feb. 15, alleged victim 34-year-old Rodney Cannon said Bieber and bodyguards assaulted him. He said he had to go to the hospital for treatment, where doctors told him he had an acute head injury and a possible concussion.
A YouTube video, originally posted by TMZ, allegedly shows the end of the skirmish, as a man who looks like Bieber throws punches at a much larger man who grabs hold of him and takes him down to restrain him.
Cannon said the altercation happened after he had a drink with the Canadian-born pop star at a Cleveland bar following the NBA game, and the pair walked outside together. Bieber then reportedly took Cannon’s Versace sunglasses and put them on. Cannon started snapping photos.
That’s when things took a turn for the worse, as Bieber reportedly became angry that Cannon was taking pictures of him. The Grammy winner told the alleged victim to delete the photos, but Cannon said he would do so once he got his glasses back. Bieber then reportedly grabbed Cannon’s phone and started to delete the images, while Cannon tried to take the device back.
Cannon then allegedly reached for Bieber’s face to grab the sunglasses and tried to restrain the singer, who caught him with a three punch combination to the face.
Bieber’s bodyguards also punched the man several times at this point, ultimately leading to his hospitalization at a Nevada facility, according to the report.
Sources connected to the victim said that he took nearly a year to file the report because he was looking for an out-of-court settlement, but Bieber chose not to settle, according to TMZ.
Police officers said the investigation is ongoing and no one has pressed any charges yet.
