Vince, Stephanie and Shane McMahon took a photo with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office this week, reminding the world of that time Trump shaved Vince McMahon’s head at WrestleMania.
The McMahons were at the White House this week because Linda McMahon was being sworn in as administrator of the Small Business Administration. Vince and Linda’s grandchildren were also in attendance, as was Stephanie McMahon’s husband, Triple H.
In the photo, the McMahon children can be seen holding up a picture of Donald Trump shaving Vince McMahon’s head at WrestleMania 23. This was as part of a WWE storyline back in 2007, when Bobby Lashley and Umaga had a match at WrestleMania with the former representing Trump and the latter representing McMahon. Whoever lost would have their head shaved by the winner, and the loser was Vince McMahon.
President Trump is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Although there has been virtually no mention of Trump on WWE programming since his campaign was launched in 2015, Trump does still have a page dedicated to him on the WWE website. “From captivating billionaire to reality TV star, from WWE Hall of Famer to the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump has truly done it all,” the WWE.com profile of Trump says.
Earlier this year, during Linda McMahon’s confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were in attendance, and Senator Tim Scott told them that he’s a big WWE fan.
