Kristen Stewart discussed the many negative tweets President Donald Trump has written about her over the years on Thursday’s “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Watch the video below!
Trump has tweeted about the actress a total of 11 times, with the first comment coming in 2012 following her split from Robert Pattinson. He wrote at the time, “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again, just watch. He can do much better!” During Stewart’s guest spot on Thursday’s “Late Show,” Colbert noted, “You were one of the first people on Twitter that our president attacked repeatedly.” She responded, “That’s cool, you know, whatever,” before brushing off her shoulder.
The talk show host then asked if she ever confronted Trump about the situation, to which the actres explained, “I tried to, he didn’t respond. I did it publicly and he didn’t publicly respond. It was kind of disappointing.” As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart said Trump was “obsessed” with her in an interview with Variety earlier this year.
“He tweeted at you 11 times,” Colbert added. “How does it feel to be tweeted at more than the president has condemned antisemitism?” The actress simply shook her head and said, “Oh my God.” Watch Stewart discuss Trump’s tweets in the video below!
