(Screen Actors Guild)
The 2017 SAG Awards is being held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday. Check out the live stream below!
The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will honor the best acting performances from the past year. Like the Golden Globes, the show rewards actors from both television and film. The event comes three weeks after the Globes, and about a month before the Academy Awards, which focuses exclusively on movies.
Still, all three events are celebrating some of the same projects. That includes the casts of the critically-acclaimed films Fences, Manchester By The Sea, Moonlight, and Hidden Figures. The stars from each will present clips from their respective movies throughout the night.
In addition, a number of faces from TV will be on hand to honor the small screen genre and the actors who bring it to life. Among those slated to present are Sophia Bush, Gina Rodriguez, Millie Bobby Brown, Steven Yeun, Michelle Dockery and Ashton Kutcher. Collaborators John Legend and Common, who have both added acting to their music careers, will also serve as presenters.
Perhaps most notably, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton will lead the Life Achievement Award tribute to Lily Tomlin. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern, after the online-only red carpet broadcasts conclude. Watch below!
