A Muslim elementary gym teacher in Mississippi whacking a young Muslim student for eating a BLT in the school cafeteria is satirical news. There is no truth to a report that a young Muslim student at Jefferson Davis Elementary had been smacked by his Muslim elementary gym teacher because he was caught eating a BLT. If the story sounds wild and crazy that is because it is just that as it is false.

Where did this satirical news originate? Daily World Update published the satirical news article on May 26, 2018, reporting that an Islamic elementary gym teacher had hit a young Muslim boy eating a BLT at school. You can read the satirical news article below.

A radical Islamic gym teacher at Jefferson Davis Elementary in Littleton, Mississippi has been fired and arrested for assaulting a student. According to the school’s principal, Mahim al Ahkamaro, the teacher became irate when he saw a young Muslim boy eating a BLT in the cafeteria:

“Littleton is a small town settled by Muslims in the early 1800s. To see a BLT at all is rare. To see a boy whose parents you’ve prayed with? Unheard of. Justafa lost his temper and now he’ll pay the price.”

Littleton, one of seven towns in America whose charter pre-dates the ban on Sharia Law, will most likely drag the teacher to the town square where he’ll be beaten by the elders with iron rods. After that, his hands will be broken. He will then have to kneel on upside-down bottle caps, holding himself up with his broken hands, as he prays to Allah for 17 hours with no food or water.

However, there is no truth to the above story. What is the problem with the story to make it false? Of course, there is no legitimate news coverage. A simple search of The Clarion-Ledger, which is the second oldest company in Mississippi and is one of only a few newspapers in the nation that continues to circulate statewide, comes up with no results. Additionally, there is no “Littleton, Mississippi” that was settled by Muslims in the 1800s. PBS has an interesting read on Islam in America.

“Between 1878 and 1924, Muslim immigrants from the Middle East, particularly from Syria and Lebanon, arrived in large numbers, with many settling in Ohio, Michigan, Iowa and even the Dakotas. Like most other migrants they were seeking greater economic opportunity than in their homeland and often worked as manual laborers. One of the first big employers of Muslims and blacks was the Ford Company—these were often the only people willing to work in the hot, difficult conditions of the factories.”

The above story also included links that did not provide any support for its outrageous claims.

Finally, and most importantly, Daily World Update carries the following disclaimer:
