College Football Point Spreads & Odds Rivalry Week 13

It’s the final full week of college football’s regular season in Week 13, also known as Rivalry Weekend. And you won’t find a better rivalry than the Iron Bowl, which has AP Top 25 No. 6 Auburn hosting No. 1 Alabama on Saturday. The Crimson Tide are 4.5-point favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

No two-loss team has ever made the College Football Playoff, but Auburn has a great shot to be the first if it upsets Alabama and then beats Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. It’s only the eighth time in Iron Bowl history both schools enter ranked in the Top 10 of the AP poll.

Auburn holds a 4-3 record in the previous seven and this is the first time the schools will meet with the SEC West division title on the line since that epic 2013 game won by Auburn 34-28 in the famous Kick Six play. The Tide have won the past three in the series (2-1 ATS) according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

The Apple Cup is huge Saturday between No. 14 Washington State and No. 15 Washington in Seattle, with the Huskies as 9-point favorites. It’s the first time in the rivalry that both schools are ranked in the Top 15. If the Cougars win, they play Southern Cal in the Pac-12 title game. If Washington wins, Stanford plays USC. UW is 6-2 ATS in the past eight vs. Wazzu.

Ohio State-Michigan is another of college football’s best rivalries, and the No. 8 Buckeyes are 11-point favorites in Ann Arbor. OSU already has clinched a spot opposite unbeaten Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game, but the Buckeyes can’t afford another loss and make the College Football Playoff. OSU has covered in five of its past six trips to Michigan.

On Friday, No. 10 TCU is -24 against Baylor. The Horned Frogs earn a rematch with Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship Game with a victory. A Bears upset creates a complicated tiebreaker. Who starts at QB for TCU against Baylor? Kenny Hill missed this past Saturday’s win over Texas Tech due to injury, and Shawn Robinson became the first true freshman to start for TCU at QB under Gary Patterson.

Also Friday, unbeaten No. 13 UCF can earn a spot in the American Athletic Conference title game with a victory over rival and No. 22 South Florida. The Knights are -11 at home in the “War on I-4.” South Florida has covered six of the past eight in the series.
