Walmart has over 11,600 stores and clubs in 28 countries across the world, and is the largest company by revenue.
It was founded by Sam Walton in Rogers, Arkansas, in 1962, and became incorporated on October 31, 1969. Walton, also known as “Mr. Sam”, was born in Oklahoma in 1918. He joined the military in 1942, and after his time in the service, he gained retail experience operating his own variety store.
Walmart approximated about $480 billion in 2016, and according to its annual report, 62% came from its US operations.

Halloween falls on a Tuesday this year, and the biggest trending costumes of the year are from TV shows. Stranger Things is one of the most popular looks, according to CBS, as is the trio from Baywatch, Dwayne Johnson’s film earlier this year.
